VISIT TO CJ
To tour Chek Jawa with nature guides is an experience not to be missed!
Volunteers are on hand during the official public visits to Chek Jawa to help visitors understand and appreciate the biodiversity seen during low tide. Safety rules must be followed. Footwear that protects legs from abrasions and stings is mandatory. Carry enough water and apply sunblock to protect skin.
Some of the creatures occur only seasonally and you may count yourself lucky if you see them. However what you see is only a miniscle of what CJ can offer. More can be seen at the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity at NUS where some of the creatures salvaged during the research work are displayed.
It is important to have a sense of adventure and take away only memories.
