KUSU ISLAND
The 8.5 ha island is often packed with worshippers during the months of September to November. It used to be the burial site for immigrants who died in quarantine over at St John's & Lazarus island. Legend had it that a giant turtle turned itself into an island to save 2 shipwrecked sailors. Despite being reclaimed, a diverse marine life is found in the surrounding waters of the the island resort. The island's two swimming lagoons are also popular with holiday makers.
